Tŷ Môr (sea house in welsh) delivery cruise from Burnham on Crouch to Swansea.

Planned start date = 12th July 2014
Planned arrival date = sometime later

Tŷ Môr (pictured above as 'Espadon') is a 1996 Moody 38 which we are in the process of buying. Our plan is to sail her from her current berth in Burnham on Crouch marina to Swansea in South Wales.

She is sad at the moment and in need of some TLC. Inside she is smart and comfortable but externally she has been neglected for the last 18 months.
Her hull has taken on a new function - home to all passing orphaned marine life and the propeller has become a barnacle city complete with high rise flats, cinema complex and shopping malls for the city loving barnacle.

So our task is is to make our boat sea worthy so that she can be sailed around the south coast of England to her new home in Swansea marina.

Task list:
1. Repair head sail - sail is now in Dolphins sail loft being washed and repaired.
2. Apply anti-fouling to the hull, clean up the prop(remove the city), check the stern gland and fix the bow stem band - all this work is being done by those talented mechanics in Burnham Yacht marine services (hopefully this week).
3. Wash every external surface to get rid of all the green stuff, applied by mother nature over the last few months.
4. Launder all the running rigging to clear all the green algae clinging to it and to make them subtle and usable by cold wet hands.

Crew assembled: Mark(skipper), Pete(chief navigator) and Ian (pot washer). Part-timers: Su (floor & heads scrubber), Chris (deck-hand).
